I need an advice on my relationship. he is still married!?

Ok this is oing to be long but i really need some advice on my situation.So ive been seeing this guy for 9 months. I live in VA and he lives in NC. He told me he was separated and got divorced in July. That was when we actually got in a close relationship. His ex tried to contact me a few times telling me that he is a liar and that he cheated on her a few times so im not the first girl. She came over his house few times and they had huge arguments. He told me she was crazy and that he doesnt care about what she does and cant really control that. He is planning to move here in VA with me in about a month. So now 9 months into our relationship i came to visit him fr the first time. I paid $200 for the plane ticket. He actually owes me around $500 for all th etimes i helped him pay to stay at a hotel here and some other things. He never gave me the money back but he keeps promising that he will. So i came to stay for a week and on the first day his ex came to get the rest of her furniture while me and him were out. She saw my sutcase and all my stuff and threw my clothes outside from the balcony, thew all my stuff in the bathroom in the toilet and stole one of my bags. Soon after we came back and saw all this, she came back fopr one more thing and it happened to be at the same time e were there. So she started getting in my face calling a ***** and to get out of her house. She pushed me and we kinda got into a fight but she evetually left. Then she came bck later with a friend and started saying all this bad things about my boyfriend and eventually called the cops. When they came and spoke to me and my bf, i found outhe was still married to her! They are divorced and she is still on the lease but she doesnt live thee anymore and she had a new rsidence now so the cops told her she has no right to kick me out. And they went to her place and found my bag a few of m things were missing. I cant take her to court cuz it will cost more that the stuf im missing. She went to jail bcuz of stealing and being loud. This whole time i thought he was divorced but he isnt!!! He says he didnt kow how to tell me bcuz he really wants to be with me and loves me so he didnt want to tell me. He said she never signed the divorce paper but he will keep sending it to her bcuz there is only so many times she can deny. I told him that he doesnt needto move here until he is comepltly done wit her. Now i feel s stupid bcuz she actually has the right to tell me to stop talking to him. Other problem is that he used to drink kind of a lot an i dont like it so he supposely stopped. But he did it whn i was there and he says its ok if he does it with me bcuz at least i know. but he got so violent when he was drinking. We got into an argument and he pushed me into the door. His ex told me that he could be like that and now i dont if thats what he is really like or if it was just an accident. He keeps telling me that he loves me to deah and wants to be with me. So i went home today and we talkeda little bit, he was with his neighbour. I called him later ad he was drinking! It was enough for me to tell that hewas driking. Right the same day i left... Its like he has no respect about what i think. I also found a bunch of in his house and told him to get rid of it which he did except for a couple pictures. Does it sound like this relationship could work or is he lying to me? I do have aot of feelings for him but i dont know if its worth it for me to stay with him.Plz help.
