How do you get a job in the seismic industry in Calgary or elsewhere?

there are technicians, mechanics, and even admins/clerks. So, of course one CAN get a job in the industry. It would help to know someone in the industry, so try to join a technical or professional group that is involved (such as geology, seismology, petroleum engineering or other geosciences organization), and meet a few people, and it always help to not just have a clue what is going on and the buzz words, but some doentation or certification of completion of some program, or it's very low odds and strictly luck.
