Why Do Most UFC Fans Diss Bruce Lee?

I find it kind of odd that some UFC fans talk crap about Bruce Lee. They say this UFC fighter & that UFC fighter could take Bruce Lee. They say he was an actor not a fighter. If you watch his training and practice footage you can see he works hard! Didn't he invent mixed martial arts? Wouldn't there be no UFC without him?
