Changing Mucus Color?

You being exposed to smoke can cause this changing. But mucus can change in thickness and color due to how deep or where it came from. Sometimes if the mucus is clear it can be mixed with spit which dilutes to be clear but some of it can be more concentrated causing it to be a yellow.
