What's the difference between oil pastel and chalk pastel?

Oil pastels #1 are more expensive and harder to use. Blending depending on the medium can be more difficult. Chalk pastels are definitely cheaper and much much easier to blend and give the same effect no matter what the medium is that you use. Fix is needed to set both.
