Defrosted food?

My kids got some ice lollies out of my garage freezer and left the door slightly ajar. The next day when I went to it all the food was defrosted. I wasn't sure what to do so I closed the door and it re froze. I am gutted because there was amongst other stuff a big lamb joint and an organic chicken. Should I throw the whole lot away?
