Can I take Ibuprofen when I'm already on prescription meds?

I went to the doctor on Friday with a sinus infection and got prescribed Mucinex DM and a Z-pak (Azithromycin), and I've been taking them both since Friday morning. Well I woke up this morning and had started my period, and my question is, can I take Midol or Ibuprofen (for my cramps, which are horrible) while I'm on the Mucinex and Z-pak?
